Finally — A Real
Answer for You
or Your Child.
Comprehensive ADHD evaluations for children, teens, and adults across DFW. Because "try harder" was never the right advice.
"An ADHD diagnosis is only as good as the process behind it."

Children through adults — one expert, one practice
What if it was ADHD all along?
ADHD looks different in every person. It's not always hyperactivity. It's forgotten tasks and lost keys. It's the meeting you couldn't stay focused in, or the child who is bright and curious but can't seem to get their homework done. You deserve an evaluation from someone who takes the full picture seriously.

For Adults
How the ADHD Evaluation Works
I don't rely on a 15-minute questionnaire. My evaluations are comprehensive, collaborative, and designed to give you real answers — not guesswork.
& Teens
-
160 minutes
Parent Interview
We start with you. I want the full story — early development, school history, what you've tried, what's helped. No detail is too small. This is where we build the foundation for an accurate diagnosis.
-
260 minutes
Child / Teen Session
Your child meets with me one-on-one. I evaluate attention, behavior, emotional regulation, and how they see themselves. For teens, their own perspective is critical to a complete picture.

Collateral Information
I send a brief, targeted questionnaire to your child's teacher, coach, or tutor. ADHD shows up differently in different settings — school observations often reveal patterns that can't be seen at home alone.
-
430 minutes
Diagnosis & Treatment Planning
We meet together to review everything. I share my findings clearly, answer every question, and we build a treatment plan together — medication, therapy referrals, school accommodations, or a combination.
& College Students
-
160 minutes
Adult Interview
We start with your story — childhood patterns, academic history, current challenges at work and in relationships. Many adults with ADHD have spent years compensating in ways that mask their symptoms. I know how to look for them.
-
230 minutes
Collateral Session
ADHD is best diagnosed with input from someone who knows you well — a parent, partner, close colleague, or sibling. This brief session provides the external perspective that makes diagnoses accurate and defensible.
-
330 minutes
Diagnosis & Treatment Planning
I walk you through my full clinical assessment and we build a treatment plan together — medication options if appropriate, therapy recommendations, and practical strategies for your specific challenges.

You need someone who truly knows ADHD.
I'm Dr. Bianca Busch — board-certified in both Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. My fellowship training at Harvard's Boston Children's Hospital included extensive work with children and adolescents with ADHD, learning differences, and complex behavioral presentations.
"Countless adults — especially women and high-achieving professionals — have gone undiagnosed for decades because their symptoms didn't fit the textbook picture. I'm trained to find what others miss."
Every evaluation I conduct is thorough, unhurried, and built around the real person in front of me — not a checklist. I coordinate directly with therapists and other providers so your care is genuinely integrated, not siloed.

No Rush, No Shortcuts
Insurance-driven evaluations often last 30–45 minutes. Mine don't. Your evaluation is as long as it needs to be — because a real diagnosis requires a real conversation.
Coordinated Care
If you're already working with a therapist, I collaborate directly with them. You deserve a team that communicates — not siloed providers working in parallel.
A Beautiful, Welcoming Office
Our Mansfield office was designed to feel nothing like a clinical waiting room. Whether you're bringing a child or coming in yourself, the environment was built to feel like you belong here.
Accommodation Documentation
Adults and college students often need ADHD documentation for workplace accommodations or university disability services. We can include this as part of your evaluation and treatment plan.

Everything You Want to Know About ADHD Evaluations
How is this different from testing done through a school or psychologist?
School evaluations focus on educational eligibility — they are not the same as a clinical psychiatric diagnosis. A psychiatric evaluation with me results in a formal DSM-5 diagnosis, a complete treatment plan, and medication management if appropriate. Many families pursue both.
Does my child need a referral from their pediatrician?
No referral is needed — you can book directly. That said, I'm happy to coordinate with your child's pediatrician as part of their care, and often do.
My child was evaluated before and didn't meet criteria. Should we try again?
Yes — this is quite common. ADHD presentations change with age and academic demands. What didn't qualify at age 7 may present very clearly at 11 or 14. A fresh evaluation with a specialist is always worthwhile.
I'm an adult who has always suspected I have ADHD. Is it too late?
Absolutely not. Adult ADHD diagnosis is one of the most common reasons adults seek my care — and one of the most life-changing. Many of my adult patients describe their diagnosis as the first time their whole life made sense.
What if I don't want medication?
Medication is one tool, not a requirement. My job is to give you a clear diagnosis and a full range of options. Many patients start with non-medication strategies; others find medication transformative. We decide together, at your pace.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes. We accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA cards. Superbills are provided for potential out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance plan — many families recoup a significant portion of the cost this way.
Do you provide documentation for college disability services or workplace accommodations?
Yes. If accommodation documentation is a goal of your evaluation, let us know when you book. This is especially common for college students navigating university disability offices and adults seeking workplace accommodations.
I'm not near Mansfield. Can I still be seen?
If you're in Texas, both in-person and telehealth may be options depending on your location. I'm also licensed in CA, CO, CT, DC, GA, IL, MA, MD, NY, OH, OK, and PA — telehealth evaluations are available for patients in those states.
